98% of your non-coding DNA is responsible for emotional, behavioral, and personality traits ... and it's affected by environmental stressors, including your ancestors' traumas.​​

When your great-grandmother survived famine, war, or persecution, her body adapted to survive. Those survival strategies got coded into her DNA, and passed down to your grandmother, your mother, and YOU.

Those survival strategies (hypervigilance, scarcity mindset, emotional shutdown, mistrust) outlived their usefulness. They were meant to help HER survive. But now they're running YOUR life and causing suffering.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?

Before the Session:

We'll have a brief conversation (via WhatsApp, Facebook video, email, or in person) to understand:

  • What you're experiencing

  • Your intentions

  • What patterns you've noticed (family dynamics, recurring struggles)

  • What you know about your family history (migration, war, poverty, abuse, loss).  And, how far back the pattern seems to go

  • You don't need to know details. Your body and the ancestral field will reveal what needs addressing.

 

I may ask questions like:

  • "When did you first notice this feeling of being incomplete?"

  • "Is there a specific event or relationship that feels unfinished?"

  • "What would 'wholeness' feel like for you?"

During the Session:

We'll use a combination of modalities:

1. Genogram Work (Family mapping)

  • We'll create a visual map of your family tree, tracking patterns
    across generations

  • This helps identify: Who carried what? Where did the pattern start?
    Who tried to break it but couldn't?

2. Epigenetic Journaling & Inquiry

​We'll explore questions like:

  • "What did my ancestors survive?"
  • "What beliefs did they need to hold to survive?"

  • "What am I still carrying that was theirs, not mine?"

​

3. Cacao Ceremony (if appropriate)

  • Heart-opening ritual to connect with your lineage

  • Create sacred space to receive ancestral messages

4. Shamanic Journeying (if needed)

  • Traveling to meet your ancestors in non-ordinary reality

  • Witnessing their trauma, offering healing

  • Retrieving ancestral wisdom or power

  • Curse or Hex unravelling

5. Somatic Release (if needed)

  • Your body holds inherited nervous system patterns

  • We may use gentle somatic movement, embodiment exercises, or TRE to discharge what's stored

6. Ritual & Reframing

  • Creating a ceremony to honor your ancestors AND release their burden

  • Reframing inherited traits as wisdom (e.g., hypervigilance to  awareness, scarcity to  resourcefulness)

I work at the intersection of ancestral wisdom and embodied healing. I've studied Mark Wolynn's epigenetic inquiry and genogram work, participated firsthand in family constellation therapy, and spent years weaving this work into sacred ceremony.

 

But I'm also shamanic, somatic, and trauma-informed—which means I don't stop at awareness.

​Q: What if I don't know my family history?

A: You don't need detailed history. It’s very common for family history to be lost or purposely kept secret. We can work with what you DO know, or with the patterns showing up in YOUR life now and work backwards, or we can work in non-ordinary realms to speak with your ancestors directly.

​Q: What if my ancestors did terrible things? Can this work still help?

A: Yes. Ancestral work isn't about excusing harm, it's about understanding the context, breaking the cycle, and choosing differently. You can honor their humanity while refusing to repeat their patterns..

​Q: Will this dishonor my family?

A:The opposite. True honor means acknowledging the full truth, their survival, their pain, their resilience, AND freeing yourself (and future generations) from carrying what they couldn't resolve.

​Q: Can I do this if I'm adopted or don't know my biological family?

A: Yes! You carry both biological lineage and the lineage of those who raised you. We can work with what's present in your system.

​Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: Some clients experience profound shifts in one session as the awareness of ancestral patterns come to light. Larger shifts and healing comes when awareness is combined with personalized ceremony and integration sessions. Others, especially those with complex family histories need multiple sessions on particular themes (especially if there are multiple traumas, patterns, or layers). Most clients start with one session, then decide if they want more support via a program.
